Lunches
Life Preparatory School does not currently provide a lunch program for students at the Deltona Campus. Students will need to bring their own lunches and snacks from home to school. We do ask that parents provide proper lunches and utensils for their children each day. Parents will be notified in advance of special occasions during which lunch is provided—such as pizza day.

Tutoring
Tutoring is recommended through the process of a parent-teacher conference where extra attention is needed for course improvement or any area where a student is struggling. Tutoring sessions are 30 minutes, held on campus, and are $30.00.
Immunizations & Vaccines
When enrolling or re-enrolling a student you will notice we require Proof of Immunizations and Proof of Physical to complete your Childs application. However, we understand not every parent enforces this whether for religious, medical, or personal reasons. Please see below with options for forms that must be on file to complete your child’s application.
A Permanent Medical Exemption, documented on the Form DH 680, can be granted if a child cannot be fully immunized due to medical reasons. In this case, the child's physician must state in writing, the reasons for exemption based on valid clinical reasoning or evidence.
Form DH 681, Religious Exemption From Immunization, is issued if immunizations are in conflict with the religious tenets and practices of the child's parent or guardian. This exemption is issued by a County Health Department (CHD) and based on established religious beliefs or practices only.
Policies
Child Abuse Reporting & Employee Misconduct
Life Preparatory School prohibits confidentiality agreements with instructional personnel or school administrators who are dismissed, terminated, or resign in lieu of termination due to misconduct that affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.
Life Preparatory School posts a notice at the school stating that all employees have a duty to report actual or suspected cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.
Life Preparatory School posts at our school site and on our website the policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators, which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.
All LPS employees have been trained to recognize signs of child abuse, abandonment, and neglect, and have been advised as to their status as mandatory reporters. Please report any instance or suspected instance of employee misconduct to our Head of School or Director. The Florida Abuse Hotline can be reached at 1-800-96-ABUSE.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Life Preparatory School does not discriminate against qualified applicants, employees, prospective students, or enrolled students who are or become disabled. A qualified person is someone who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of the job or educational program in question. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Life Preparatory School has adopted a policy that prohibits discrimination against faculty, staff, or students with disabilities. The school, however, admits only those students for which the school can provide an appropriate educational program.
Liability Protections
Any person, official, or institution participating in good faith in any act authorized or required by law, or reporting in good faith any instance of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect to the department or any law enforcement agency, shall be immune from any civil or criminal liability which might otherwise result because of such action. (F.S. 39.203)
An employer who discloses information about a former or current employee to a prospective employer of the former or current employee upon request of the prospective employer or of the form or current employee is immune from civil liability for such disclosure or its consequences unless it is shown by clear and convincing evidence that the information disclosed by the former or current employer was knowingly false or violated any civil right of the former or current employee protected under F.S. Chapter 760. (F.S. 768.095)
Sexual Promiscuity and Biblical Gender Identity
LPS is a school for students who are unmarried and who live at home with their Parent/Guardian(s). LPS upholds a traditional Biblical view of sexual morality (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). Students shall not engage in inappropriate sexual behavior (including but not limited to premarital sexual relations, homosexuality, bisexuality or transgender-related actions) on or on campus.
Dating of any kind is not allowed by students of Life Preparatory School. We strive to keep an atmosphere that adheres strictly to their educational and spiritual growth. We believe that the young minds of our students need to focus on building the foundation needed to be successful in all aspects of life, and not be focused on anything that will hinder that growth. Although we understand you as a parent may have differing opinions, your agreement to enroll your child in Life Preparatory School requires full adherence to this policy.
Biblical Human Sexuality
1. We believe God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged outside of marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4 and I Corinthians 7:1-4).
2. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, transgender identity/lifestyle, self-identification, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful in the sight of God and the church (Genesis 2:24; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; I Corinthians 5:1; I Corinthians 6:9; I Thessalonians 4:2-7).
3. We believe that God created mankind in His image: male (man) and female (woman), sexually different but with equal dignity. Therefore, one’s biological sex must be affirmed and no attempts should be made to physically change, alter, or disagree with one’s biological gender – including, but not limited to, elective sex reassignment, transvestite, transgender, or non-binary gender fluid acts of conduct (Genesis 1:26-28).
Disciplinary Guidelines for Infraction
Student consequences for violating any part of this policy will result in immediate removal from Life Preparatory School with a full administrative review to determine the disciplinary action that will be taken. During the review period, if deemed the student may be allowed to return, there will be student and family Biblical counseling made available as a requirement to complete any potential reinstatement of enrollment. If deemed that the infraction does not qualify for reinstatement, the result will be immediate expulsion from Life Preparatory School and reported as such to any governing bodies required.
Student and Family Accountability
Students or Parents who disrupt the school environment by advocating the acceptance of inappropriate sexual practices or beliefs (including but not limited to premarital sexual relations, homosexuality, bisexuality or transgender-related actions or advocacy of such) are subject to disciplinary action up to and including expulsion of the student or students.
Life Preparatory School Right to Discretion and Investigation
The administration reserves the right to use its discretion to determine, on a case-by-case basis, what constitutes sexually inappropriate behavior or advocacy and what constitutes disruption of the school environment. The administration also reserves the right to inquire about these issues to students and parents. (Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:27, Leviticus 18:22, Matthew 19:4-6, Genesis 1:27, Deuteronomy 22:5, I Corinthians 6:9-10)
