This October, Life Preparatory School is joining together with our church family for Outreach on the Block, taking place on October 31st! This special outreach gives our church members an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with our community right from their own homes.

From October 5th–23rd, we are collecting candy that will be packed into individual candy bags and prepared for distribution during our Candy Packing Day on October 27th.

Each brown bag will be filled with candy bags for members of our church to take with them and pass out to children and families in their neighborhoods on October 31st. Along with the candy, we pray that these simple acts of generosity will open doors to share the hope and love of Jesus throughout our community.

🍭 Class Candy Competition

We’re adding a little friendly competition to our Candy Drive. The class that collects the most candy will earn a class party to celebrate their generosity and participation in this outreach.

How points are earned:

• Every pound of candy = 1,000 points for your child’s class.

• Bring in 10 pounds or more = an additional 5,000 bonus points!

• All donations should be dropped off at reception on your child’s designated campus.

• When dropping off your candy, please check in with the front office so your child’s class receives the appropriate points.

Our goal is to collect enough candy to help make Outreach on the Block a meaningful opportunity to reach families throughout our community.

🍫 Candy Donation Guidelines

We kindly ask that all candy donations follow these guidelines:

• Pre-packaged candy such as lollipops, Starburst, hard candies, etc.

• Please avoid chocolate due to melting.

• Please avoid large candy bars.

• Bags of individually wrapped, pre-packaged candy are preferred.

• Donations should be dropped off at your child’s designated campus.
